Substance Use Disorder
- A substance use disorder (SUD) is a treatable disorder that affects an individual's ability to control their use of substances such as alcohol or drugs.
Mental Health
- Mental health conditions involve changes in thinking, emotions, and behavior.
Harm Reduction
- Harm reduction helps people who use drugs avoid negative effects, like infection or overdose. It is also more than that. In addition, "many understand harm reduction as a way to meet people where they are with kindness and respect."
