COMPASS Home
COMPASS stands for “Coordinated Medical, Psychiatric, Substance Abuse and Social Services,” and
was designed to help support your journey to recovery with safe housing and personalized care.
Towns Served:
Funded by a federal grant, COMPASS Home is available to adults who are recovering from substance
use disorders and are homeless or at-risk of homelessness, and reside in one of the following towns:
Windham/Willimantic, Mansfield, Chaplin, Brooklyn, Scotland, Canterbury, Plainfield, Sterling, Killingly,
Pomfret, Putnam, Thompson, Woodstock, Eastford, Ashford, Willington, Union, Tolland, Suffield,
Somers, Ellington, Vernon, Manchester, Bolton, Coventry, Hampton, Andover, Columbia and Hebron.
Services include:
• Linkage to housing assistance
• Case Management to help connect you and your family to appropriate community resources
• Mental Health services, from comprehensive assessment to ongoing care
• Addiction-focused services, including MAT
• Medical services
• Help with a wide range of services and information regarding job training, education, benefits, housing,
recovery supports and more
